My shortest love story ever….

Happy Valentine's day

My shortest love story

So here I am sitting in CCD waiting for my next meeting for which I am half hour early. Its unusually full and am thinking, “seriously, what are these college kids upto these days? Where do they get so much money? Why did we not have so much money?” As my thoughts wonder, in walks this drop dead gorgeous Greek God looking guy.

And me thinking “Shit. Why am I wearing Salwar Kameez today. I look so ordinary. And shit I wore a bindi. Total Behenji. Oh God, why did I eat so much during Durga Pujo? I am looking fat and today only I had to see such a good looking guy? Am buying new clothes. I need to always wear hip and happening stuff. This is the alarm bell for it. Baba was right. You should always dress trendily. Man but I don’t have money to buy so much and ma has given an ultimatum. New clothes can only come when I have a new house. Apparently I have too many and cupboards are not able to hold my clothes. But seriously God, why today? I dress sexily always. Ugghhh not fair God…..”

The guy turns around and smiles at me. Am like “Are you kidding me? He is smiling at me? Man my life is made. Thank you God. Sorry for saying you not fair. You the best. Love you.”

The guy walks upto me and says sorry but can I use the chair opposite to you? CCD looks full. My brains say “Oh my god, he wants to sit with me. Wow, can i date him? Will he ask me out? Man all my friends would be jealous, he is sooooo good looking. Ok stop it, he just asked for a chair, and only cause the entire CCD is full. But seriously he is a hottie. What if he married? Oh for God’s sake don’t think trash.” My mouth finally musters courage and spells out the 3 letter word “Yes”

He sits. Am already contemplating dating, marriage, children, grandchildren.

And then IT HAPPENS. He opens his mouth, starts talking and my heart sinks. “I am sorry to bother you. I have to meet my boyfriend and I arrived a little too early, and the place is full. So I thought would share the seat with you.”
